    As written in my previous reply, the behavior has changed in WP 3.5.x (media as post type etc.) – so a new coding add is on the road to detect this new version and change some elements…
    First tests are encouraging. The next version of XL (2.8.4.2) will be soon (around 24, 48 hours) available in WP repository…

    in WP 3.4.x

    to create a clone, you must be in media library, modify a media, assign a language to this media, update, and if you open again this media, you will see the line ‘create a clone… I know it is laborious but plugin use available piece of code (function or hook) from WP…

    in WP 3.5.x

    a fixe is on the roadmap 😉

    I know xili-dictionary is a technical plugin revealing complexity behind po mo management… step by step I improve it –

    po is a text file containing msgid and translation msgstr… (used by XD or by text editor or by poEdit (or other app) desktop application
    mo is a compiled file (of po) used by php for performance…
    XD is able to import mo and export it as po… useful when theme is not delivered with pot or po files…

    Don’t use msgid_plural for categories terms ! (expert feature in po mo technology used in some theme or in wp)
    Delete this msgid and his plural (empty trash) and reimport categories –

    Just be informed that XD 2.3. is online ! with new UI in Categories edit screen 😉

    Are you on a standalone WP install (or WP network) ?
    What about the permission of sub-folder containing the mo or po file ? 777 ?

    Use contact arobase xiligroup.com email to send me snapshot of your subfolder ftp permission …

    Ok, the issues is identified due to new capabilities features introduced in 2.3.2… Install back 2.3.1 and it will be fixed with 2.3.3 this monday morning..
    (you can also create your-self by hand the term … more tedious I agree;-)

    first test with bbPress 2.3 beta2 in multilingual context with xili-language are encouraging.
    The addon shipped with xili-language plugin works well.

    La sortie de xili-language 2.8.4 (avec près de 1000 téléchargements par semaine) est accompagnée de la sortie de xili-dictionary en 2.3.2 et de xili-tidy-tags en 1.8.2… pour intégrer des modifications liées à WP 3.5.1
