With version 1.2.0, xili-dictionary incorporate compatibility with child theme for WP 3.0 in either mode single or multisite. This version must be used with xili-language 1.8.1 on multilingual website.

La gestion des thèmes enfant apparentés à un thème de référent le parent fait l’objet de multiples articles et prend réellement son essor avec WP 3.0.
Son principal avantage : pouvoir créer et personnaliser un thème « le fils » sans modifier les fichiers du thème d’origine : « le parent ».Impact sur xili-language : tant que le nouveau thème fils (child theme) n’ajoutait pas de nouveau terme à traduire et que donc les fichiers de langue .po, .mo ne sont pas modifiés, les versions précédentes de xili-language sont compatibles.
Qu’apporte la prochaine nouvelle version (1.8.1) ?
Si le fichier functions.php du thème fils est correctement configuré, xili-language détecte automatiquement qu’il doit se référer aux fichiers .mo, .po contenus dans un dossier du thème fils (child theme).
Ces fichiers de traduction seront alors une copie augmentée des fichiers linguistiques du thème parent. En effet, ils contiendront les nouveaux termes apportés par le thème fils.
Ces fichiers sont gérables sans difficulté avec poEdit. Et xili-dictionary sera mis à jour pour tenir compte de ce type de thème enfant.Feuille de route
La nouvelle version 1.8.1 de xili-language est en fin de tests. Elle incorporera aussi des améliorations dans la gestion des menus de navigation quand ils sont plusieurs dans le thème. Quelques bugs résiduels sont corrigés (interface widget).
La version 1.9 supprimera les options de compatibilité avec les versions 2.9. et précédentes.Soyez patient et pensez aux donations !
Until version 1.8.0, xililanguage can be used with child theme but only if languages files (.mo compiled from .po) are in the parent theme.
In 1.8.1, new version under tests since few days, it will be possible to put the languages files inside a folder in child theme to avoid to modify the parent files as expected in this architecture parent and child for better maintenance. Some small lines must be added to functions.php of child theme. (xili-dictionary will be also updated)
Obviously, it works also in multisite mode.
Some fixes and a better management of nav menu when more than one menu location are activated in theme.

it is not get_the_post but in a filter xiliml_php2loc_time_format_translator at around line #2900 xili-language source… Effectively, the T code for php format of date was not translated… T to %z probably but e is not cleary translatable in strftime format. Do you propose something ?
Note and question of Stephen
I just updated to 1.8.0 and find that it adds a filter to get_the_post. It seems to map the PHP date symbols to the locale ones. The problem I find is that it doesn’t map timezone symbols (‘T’ or ‘e’) and just leaves them in the final date/time strings.

Thanks for your advice,
1) in post edit page, you can see all the tags. When inserting tags cloud on your theme you can sub-select the group. Because ajax is very uneasy, today I have not plan to insert a special metabox containing tags grouped as in plugin settings or in each tag edit page.
2) it is the same reason, but if I have time or if you demand is commercial and can paid service, I can begin analysis and plan addon for that…
